Why is Truly Desi A2 Malai Paneer softer than regular paneer?
Most commercial paneer contains calcium chloride, a hardening agent that improves shelf life but makes paneer rubbery, especially when cooked. Truly Desi A2 Malai Paneer contains none. We use only natural acidulants to curdle full-fat A2 Gir Cow milk, producing a softer curd that retains its texture through cooking. The high fat content of A2 milk also contributes to a creamier, richer bite.
How long does fresh A2 paneer stay good?
Truly Desi A2 Malai Paneer is delivered fresh and should be consumed within 48 hours for peak taste and nutrition. Store refrigerated at 4°C or below. If you won't use it within 48 hours, immerse the paneer block in water in an airtight container, change the water daily to extend freshness by another 1–2 days.
Is A2 paneer better than regular paneer for digestion?
Yes, for many people. A2 paneer is made from A2 beta-casein milk, which is gentler on digestion than the A1 protein found in most commercial dairy. Individuals who experience bloating or discomfort from regular paneer often find A2 paneer easier to tolerate.
